For only the second year, LitCrawl is coming to the illustrious Hinterland Literary and Arts Festival, and I was lucky enough to be invited to host a reading!
I will be going through an excerpt from my first novel, Dark Green, set in the County Meath town in the 1970s.
What is LitCrawl? The principle is simple. The organisers close down bigger venues and open up a number of more intimate spaces to close Hinterland. Litcrawl is a sort of ‘festival within a festival’. In 2018 we are being joined by a (slightly) younger sister in the shape of the Belfast Litcrawl, an offshoot of the Belfast Book Festival.
Time: 7pm
Location: McEntees Funeral Parlour, Newmarket Street, Kells, Co. Meath
Cost: Tickets are free but advance purchase is suggested. https://www.hinterland.ie/p-147-dark-green.aspx
